being a hoarder … t-style …
t says: I’m sure that faithful readers of the blog will have noticed that our posting frequency is decreasing. Sorry about that! It’s just been so busy on the new job that I haven’t had much time to type. Actually, I haven’t really had much time to dine finely – just too busy!
Fortunately, I have had the chance to eat something new!
I love Girl Scout cookies – particularly the “Caramel Delite” or “Samoa” as I like to call them. I also love Crunch bars. So if the two were put together, what would the result be?
So … it’s hard to see in the photo, but this actually doesn’t resemble a Crunch bar at all. It’s more like a series of sandwiched wafers (like Little Debbie Nutty Bars) – so there’s no puffed rice! But the interesting thing … is that it does taste remarkably similar to Samoa cookies! The coconut and that chocolate are exactly like the cookie. That’s pretty darned impressive! Plus, unlike the cookie, I don’t choke on errant coconut flakes. Bonus! I don’t know if these are a replacement for the real-deal-cookies, however, these are individually wrapped, meaning that I won’t “accidentally” eat them all (i.e. I’ll have to make a conscious effort to unwrap each bar before consumption) and they’re immediately transportable … which is awfully convenient.
So now that I found something awesome … but is supposedly “limited edition” … what’s a t to do?
- My name is t and I have a problem …

t says: Local CVS/Rite-aid … that is … until I bought them out … but they do have thin-mint ones and peanut-butter ones!
